054 Dave Seaman

Dave Seaman’s career was kickstarted when he won a competition to attend the New Music Seminar held in New York. The competition was arranged by DMC who owned a certain fledging dance music magazine called “Mixmag”. Within a year he was the editor and his DJ bookings now included a regular appearance and Shelly’s in Stoke. Playing alongside Sasha and Laurent Garnier, Dave held down a residency, at the legendary venue, while building his studio skills along side production partner Steve Anderson working as Brothers in Rhythm. His remix credits include music for David Bowie, Michael Jackson, U2 and New Order and he’s also managed several labels: Stress, Therapy and now Selador Records.

This mix brings the BPM’s down a little to focus on quality mid tempo dark disco inspired house. Enjoy!
