Cafe Mambo Mixed By Alex Wolfenden

Cafe Mambo Mixed By Alex Wolfenden
After doing this compilation myself for many years it’s great seeing Alex Wolfenden the current resident doing such a fine job of it again this year! This triple C.D covers more chilled down-tempo stuff through mid-tempo Balearic Disco to some very cool Deep House. The first 2 C.D’s are mixed by Alex and the third is a bonus disc with some of the tracks unmixed. Highlights for me come from: Cantoma with his new ‘Paloma’ track with a cool remix from Mudd. There are a couple of my recent tracks on C.D 1 I’m very happy to say, first up is No Logo ‘This City Never Sleeps’ with Chris Coco’s instrumental version and a lovely chilled electronica track I did early this summer with Miami based DJ Jonathan Cowan. There is also a great track form the very talented Max Essa then moving into C.D 2 you get tracks from the likes of: Osunlade, then the classic ‘Song Of The Siren’ by Aphrodisiac makes a very welcome appearance and one of my favourite tracks of 2012 also features from Subb-An with ‘What To Do’ with a killer remix from one of best producers of the moment, Burnski. Dimitri From Paris ad Uner also feature and the mix then finishes with a Todd Terje remix of Roxy Music’s ‘Love Is The Drug’. And last but defiantly not least long time Mambo regular Jason Bye has his ‘Schweppes’ track make an appearance. Then C.D 3 features various unmixed tracks so all round a great C.D.
